Katniss' Butterfly Makeup~

Okay so I absolutely LOVED Katniss's Butterfly eye makeup she wore at the end of the movie during her and Peeta's interview after the games. It's technically Butterfly eyelashes, but since they can be expensive and hard to find, I did it using eyeliner! It looks quite the same and is super easy to do! Here's How:

Using the shimmery Sephora shadow, I applied that all over my lid, and used the tan MAC shadow in my crease.

Next I added turqouise liner, and winged it out.

Taking a black liquid liner, I created the wings.

Then I applied the following makeup to complete the look!

Finished!!!! Hope you liked it! <3

Colorful Summer Makeup!

Using a hot pink, purple, blue, and teal liner I created this super cute, easy eye look perfect for summer! Just thinly draw out the colors on your top lashline, to create a rainbow effect.
Then I used a sparkly clear mascara so my eyes were all shimmery! It really compliments the rainbow don't ya think?

Then for my hair I did a Lace Dutch Braid, which is an inside out french braid, but only picking up pieces farthest from the hairline.

Cupcake Nails~

                                              You will need:

                                               . 3-5 pastel colored polishes
                                               . Dotting tool
                                               . Cherry red polish
                                               . White polish
                                               . Top coat

Paint all your nails, with two thin coats of polish.

Using a white polish, take the tip of the brush and make 3-5 even strokes starting from the middle of the nail, to look like frosting.

Using a dotting tool, make red cherries on each nail, and colroful sprinkles in different colors.

Girls' Camp!!!

Okay, so I just got back from Girls' Camp, and it was awesome! I usually am not a big camper/outdoors-y person because I HATE bugs, but it was so much fun! You know, despite the fact I became a mosquito feast...

The first Day we got there all the YCL's sang to us, and helped us set up camp. Each Ward has their own camp site, and since our YCL's didn't count, we had a VERY samll camp! Only three people! We only had three tents! Me, Abi, and Morgan were all in one, and our leaders Sister Elderedge and Sister House, slept in one. The other one was our like closet/dressing room.

When we finished setting up, we had to get in our unit ID costumes, and make our flag. The theme for camp this year was "We can Change the World" so all the wards were some magical type being. We were the Galaxy Gals, and had really cool sparkly capes! We wore white sunglasses that we covered in stars, and black rubber gloves. We put our hair up in supppperrrrrrr high ponies, and put on sparkly silver lipstick! We looked sooooo cool!

My favorite part about Girl's Camp was the campfires, because we sang really funny songs, and did hilarious skits! My favorite was the "Peeta Puppet Pals". I also really liked doing crafts, because we made really cute button rings, head-bands, bracelets, and frames made out of world maps! I even made a map frame for all the YCL's in my ward! They really liked them!

Also, there was a lightening storm the night we were supposed to night hike, so we had to do it indoors. When we went back to our camp it was still going on so the Preisthood had to go to all the camp sites, to everyone to go to the dining hall to sleep. We all quickly grabbed our sleeping bags and ran across the field. Abi like bolted, and I was crying, laughing, and screaming at the same time.

When we got inside the dining hall, everyone had to lay out there sleeping bags on the floor. Since we had to quickly grab our things ablot of the girls didn't have pajamas and had to sleep in their night hike clothes. But it was fun, because the kitchen staff made us hot chocolate and put "Despical Me" On for us.

The last day we had to wake up really early to clean up. I was sad to leave but also happy I could finally sleep in a bugless bed, and use my phone!

Overall it was a very fun and spirtual experience, and I can't wait to go again!

Hunger Games Dinner!

So I like wanted to have a HG themed dinner one night....And yes it was delicous! We had food inspired from the book and movie!
 Yummy looking right???!

Here's what I made:

Beef Stew On wild rice: (Instead of Lamb stew)

Cook boxed brown rice, on the stove acordingly to the amount.

Take a frozen steak and let it thaw for about 20-30 min.

Spray a frying pan evenly and cook the steak, until a light pinkish color in the middle.
Cut the steak into small square chunks and set aside.

Pour two cans of Beefy mushroom soup into a pot and cook on high for 8min. Add in the steak and cut up some carrots, to add as well.

Pour in a can of cambells old fashioned vegetables, and cook until hot.

Pour over rice.

Peeta's Apple Tarts:

Take some pre-sliced poundcake, and stick in freezer for 30min.

Smear with goat cheese, or cream cheese.

Thinly slice some red apples, and place 1-3 on top of each.

Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Mini Banana Nut Muffins:

Take a bag of Banana Nut muffin mix, and mix with ingrediants the instructions say.

Pour into 1 inch cupcake liners and cook for 8-10 min.

Mix one can of creamy vanilla frosting with a 2 spoonfuls of cream cheese, and put a single drop on each muffin.

Cut up some watermelon, and vegetables and ENJOY!!

Obsession.....

So...Um I kinda found out I could make my own HG identification card....tehee I'm in love! <3

4th Of July look

4th of July Hair and Makeup!

Hi guys!! This is my first blog post, and since tomorrow is the 4th of July, I thought I would show you guys the inspired hair and makeup I came up with using the colors Red, White and Blue!

I used a shimmery blue in the inner corner, and beginning middle of my lid, and a bright sky blue in the middle. In the outer part of my lid I used a dark grey-blue color, and a shimmer blackish-grey in the outer "v"

For my hair I did a dutch braid, which is an inside out french braid, starting from my bangs down the side of my head. I straightened the rest of my hair, and did the same braid to the other side. You can wear this with a head band, or red ribbon :)
